Today it was more of the same in the shop. I concentrated on getting all the jacks installed and also the starboard map light and light switch. This was primarily another exercise in soldering. As before the toughest soldering was on the miniature aux input jack, the mini-toggle switch, and the starboard map light.
After getting the jacks, switch, and light installed I cleaned up the wiring runs and secured everything with nylon cable ties. The wiring looks pretty good up to the switch console but from there on it still looks like a rats nest.
I tested the map light circuit and checked for any unwanted grounds on the jacks. So far everything seems ok.
