Brief Description: Created new label for GPS select switch
I have a lighted push button switch in the instrument panel which will switch the autopilot nav input source from the panel mounted Garmin 250XL to a portable unit (probably the Garmin 796). The existing label in the switch reads GPS 496 and is printed on a thin white paper that the light easily illuminates.
I took a few minutes this morning and created a new label (GPS 796) and inserted it in the switch and tested the LED for brightness. The new label was printed on a transparency with an inkjet printer. The new label should be very readable in a dark cockpit.
