Brief Description: Continued fabricating cockpit floors
I continued working on the cockpit floors this evening. All the parts were disassembled, deburred, and then dimpled for flush rivets as appropriate. All floor stiffeners called out in the shop manual were back riveted to the panels.
The three forward stiffeners on both the left and right floor panel are not riveted at this time. From the manual it looks like they are to be installed after the floor panels are riveted into the fuselage. That will require reaching back under the floor with a bucking bar and working blind. I wish the stiffeners could be attached before the floor is installed but I suspect they make the panels too rigid to slip into place.
