Brief Description:  Continue mid-fuselage skins & structure

I began the shop session by separating the F-805B-L-1 and F-805B-R-1 floor support angles and deburring their edges. Then it was on to deburring the edges of the mid-fuselage cabin skeleton parts consisting of left and right bulkheads and the arm rests (forward, middle, and aft both sides).

The F-805G-1 gussets and the F-815C-L-1 and F-815C-R-1 outboard seat angles were deburred next followed by the final drilling of all nutplate attachment holes in all the parts just processed. The heavier parts to receive nutplates were machine countersunk while the lighter material was dimpled.

I have temporarily skipped the mods required for the rear throttle option until the OP-2 drawing arrives from Van's. I am not sure where to get the correct rear throttle at this point. It's my intention to install Van's deluxe quadrant in the front and I want the rear to match. Looks like a session researching the forums.

The next task was to fabricate some simple wood blocks and an aluminum angle tool to make the roll at the bottom aft end of the mid-fuselage skins. The table saw for the wood and the bandsaw for the metal pieces made short work of this task. I bent the left skin and it looks good but I won't know for sure until it is fitted to the fuselage (may have to come back and bend a little more later). I will have to modify the fixture before bending the right skin which must be a mirror of the left side. It shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes to change the fixture and I will be ready to roll the starboard side.
