I made the wedges for the camera today & the new angle is O.K. I used the same filler as I have for the recent canopy bow work. There were some voids that I filled with fine filler and I'll paint the wedges black in a day or 2. Being such a wide angle lens, distant objects appear very small so there is no point raising the view any further, the red fuel containers in the photo below are 3.8 metres from the camera. I made one wedge large enough to cut in two so I have an identical wedge to use a backing piece allowing the mounting nut to lie flat against a parallel surface to the camera base.
