Another big day in the shed continuing the engine wiring today. Almost all of the firewall connectors are complete, 2 errors I have made so far are both the result of errors I had made on my planning sheet, the first required the swapping of two wires in the firewall connector for the oil pressure sensor and the other small issue is with the fuel pressure sender requiring 12V. I powered it from a 5V pin in the GEA24 243 connector so I need to swap that pin to another position in the same connector, the pressure is showing 4.6 PSI static, I hope it shows zero after I swap power pins. Apart from those items, everything else seems to work OK, the TCU lights illuminate briefly on power up as they should, the external alternator field energises when selected on and all the temperature sensors agree within 1°C (EGTs are yet to be connected). Lots more work required before this section is complete and of course some parameters can't be checked untill the engine runs.
