I spent more hours today than would be expected given the seemingly simple task. The Molex pins supplied for the connection of the ignition switch wires require a crimping tool that I do not own & I am not prepared to spend almost $200 just to crimp two connectors. Fortunately Rotax supplies four pins with the engine as I did indeed ruin two pins before getting the technique correct using the crimping pliers I do own. The pins have quite a large section that is formed to lock the pin in the nylon holder, I mistakenly used that section to crimp the wire on the first attempts.
