Brief Description:  Cabin Heater Shroud

After squeezing the clamps as much as I dare, there was still not enough overlap in the shroud that I could be confident of success so today I produced from 0.032" 6061 T6 sheet, a filler piece that I will rivet to the shroud to provide the extra real estate required for the final riveting. I cut off the end of the shroud that included the baffle and produced a larger baffle in the new filler piece so I will not require the previously produced extra baffle. Once again I used the 3 in 1 tool to roll the filler to shape & form the fold for the baffle. Temporary rivets hold the filler in place for a trial fit that appears to indicate this all should work albeit with two seams to seal. Now I can deburr, alodine & assemble the shroud using stainless steel 3.2mm rivets & high temperature resistant sealant.
