PGC kindly loaned me his hydraulic lift, thank you, it made the task very straight forward. GAM made it here from Sydney early this morning & we went to work installing the engine. First task was to load the tail of the fuselage with weights as the weight of the engine brings the C of G close to the main wheels & she could tip forward if we are not careful. Next task was to position the water pump fitting in the correct orientation. Then it was time to lift the engine carefully & align the mounting holes so the bolts can be installed without being loaded in any direction. We confirmed this when all the nuts were installed finger tight and the bolts could all be rotated easily using finger tip pressure only. We initially used plain nuts to snug the mount bolts prior to swapping them for all metal locking nuts for the final (wet) torque.
