GAM travelled from Sydney once again to give me a hand, thank you. This log entry covers two days in the workshop. We spent many hours trying to devise a method of installing a conduit to run the under floor fuel lines through, unfortunately I had not considered this prior to installing the floor ribs. Had I done so, I would have increased the size of the rib holes slightly as even the thinnest conduit material we could find was too small in internal diameter for the hoses to pass through without the fuel hose deforming slightly which could reduce the maximum fuel flow capability & also make replacing the hoses a nightmare. In the end we chose to install some continuous grommet in the holes. GAM cut & installed sound proofing for the area whilst I painted then riveted the cover plates to the floor skin & did some preparatory work on the control stick bushes & pushrod end installation.
