Brief Description: Fitting the F-779 Tailcone Skin, Part 2
I marked the centerline of the F-712 Bulkhead and the WD-409 Tail wheel mounting, so that after fitting the F-779 to the F-712 and F-711 I would have some sense of how to align the parts before match drilling them together. I then drilled the WD-409 to both the F-711A & B, then ensuring the line drawn down the center of the F-712A & B and WD-409 aligned, I then drilled them together also. I was able to match all of the parts together relativelty well. But I am going to step back and work on the F-779 some more to make sure it properly prepared, prior to match drilling the tail cone components together with the side skins.
