Brief Description:  Left Fuel Tank Sealing, Day 8

In this work session I completed riveting the final 6 rivet positions on the last two internal ribs on the left fuel tank. after getting those last rivets in, I went back and inspected all of the rivets from the last days work and replaced a few rivets that I didn't like the shop heads on. I was glad I did, as the new rivets shop heads look much better. Following that, I taped off the rivet lines for the outboard rib/tank wall ribs for the left and the right fuel tanks. Finally, all the internal ribs riveting is complete. There is still much work left to do:

- I need to intall the exterior rib/tank wall on the left and right tank.

- I need to intall the T-410 tank stiffeners on the exterior tank wall.

- I plan to go back in the tank and put chemseal over all of the rivet shop heads, this will give me one more chance to look over every shop head and finad any which need replacing.

- I need to put a line/bead of sealant over all of the rib/skin joint lines.

- I need to fasion and install the fuel vent lines, and install the SB437-4 bushings in the interior ribs and secure with a bit of chemseal.

- I need to drill the fuel vent line connector in the inboard rib/tank wall on the left and right tank.

- I need to install the fuel vent lint line passs through with hardware on the left/right interior rib/tank wall.

- I need to install the fuel pickup brackets and seal the rivets with chemseal.

- I need to intall all the hardware on the T-708 Fuel tank inspection plates

- I need to install the T-410 and T-405 angle on the interior tank wall

Following all that work, I'll nvertically leak check the tanks with water. And if successful, I'll then close out the tanks by installing the rear baffle, the Z-brackets, then the T-708 Inspection plates, and finally leak check the tanks with air. Long story short, I have a lot of work left to do on these puppies.
