Brief Description: Glareshield and Panel Final Fitting
Fitted panel and lower crosstie to glareshield, and final drilled entire assembly to full size holes. I fit the panel and crosstie to the to the glareshield on the work table, as I could not find a good way to align everything in place.
At first I was scratching my head over the crosstie end plate alignment, until I realized the plans show the plates are flush with the edges of the *glareshield*, and do not exted to fit agains the longerons. Once I made that adjustment, everything fit great.
Once done I'm very happy with the overall fit. The panel is perfectly flat and fits in the glareshield quite well. Once there are some instruments in it it will be even better!
