Brief Description: Riveting continued on the skins
Today was mostly spent riveting the spars and ribs to the skins. I put a piece of painters tape on the flush set rivet gun to prevent marking the skins and it worked better than putting the tape over each individal rivet. Again, the tool of choice was the 3x rivet gun with a flush set and the 2 1/2" tungsten bucking bar. Only one drill out due to the bucking bar bouncing off the rivet and flattening one side of it. The end ribs and modified inspar ribs were riveted as well but I was able to use my numatx squeezer for those. That tool make quick and consistent work of those rivets.
