Brief Description:  It's been a Riveting day!

Rivets, rivets, and more rivets. I'm still riveting the HS skins to the inspar ribs using the rivet gun and bucking bar. I switched to the 3x gun from the 2x gun and seem to like it better. It takes fewer blows to buck the rivet and it's still very controllable. Air pressure is set to about 40 psi. I've noticed it's also taking about 1 minute for each rivet. The process....insert rivet, tape over it, grab gun and tungsten bar, get set, quick burst, check it, another quick burst, maybe measure, determined acceptable or not, then repeat. That said, there are about 110 rivets that need to be bucked on each side of the skin (not including the nose ribs). The end ribs will use the numatx squeezer so should go quicker. I finished the right HS and started on the left. More of the same next time.
