There were some tight spots to rivet in today. I don't fully understand why some locations it's okay to have pop rivets (LP4-3s) and other tight spots get the solid rivets. The far left rivet in image 1 is very hard to get to with a bucking bar. We used a cup set with the 3x rivet gun and ended up bending the shop head over twice which led to drilling it out twice which led to an oversized hole which led to going with the next size rivet. There are other LP4-3 rivets in this trim motor assembly so I don't know why they didn't call for one here. It would've been a whole lot cleaner and simpler. The other two rivets were tight too but easier to access from the shop head side. The next challenge was riveting E905 to the rear spar. I was able to use small yoke on my numatx squeezer but only after I partially set the rivet with a hand squeezer and wide flat sets. I used the same wide flat sets in the numatx squeezer once they were partially set. The wide sets were used because the space was too small to fit any yokes in that area so the wider sets allowed the rivets to be squeezed with a slight offset from center. We also riveted the shear clips, gussets, and end ribs today without any other issues.
