Brief Description:  Clecoed center fuse ribs and floors.

I had a great Fathers Day today. After I opened my presents and cards, Diane and Tanner headed up to her parents and I spent a lot of the day with Justine and Colten. When Justine went to work, Colten and I headed to the rifle range and flew the Super Cub at the High School to finish off the day.

I did work on the -7 a little bit by clecoing in the baggage ribs. I have decided that I will make the center fuse floors removable, so I clecoed them in place to start eye-balling how I want to install the nutplates, etc. It will take some time, but will be worth it to me to not have any sealed up and inaccessable areas within the planes structure. The plans call to pop rivet the floors for the most part, but I agree with a lot of other builders that being able to inspect these areas is worth the piece of mind. Some guys use this area to mount antennas, ELT's, tool boxes, etc. It is some nice space close to the center of gravity so I may put it to use. We'll see.
