I visited Burley, Idaho this week for business and spent some time at the airport. It looks to be used now for mainly Ag Spraying and probably some flight instruction. Overall, it has seen better days I am sure but, it does have a nice area at the entrance to honor those who have served and those that died in various wars.
It is towns like Burley, Idaho and Grand Island, Nebraska that make this country what it is. These types of towns seem to give more of themselves in the way of their young citizens that die for our country around the world. Many of the last names are the same from one gererations war to another and this speaks a lot to the character of the families they represent. Thanks to those families that have given so much.
