Brief Description: Front spar tabs and modifications
This morning I bent the front spar tabs as required. The next step was to trim the spar channel flange as this part is actually designed for the RV-8. I drilled a relief hole just off the bend line per spec and then used snips and a file to shape the notch properly and make a smooth radius. This was a tedius process, but it turned out fine.
I clecoed everything back together to check the fit and it looks pretty good. When riveted, everything should pull together nicely.
