Brief Description: adjustments to fin skin fitting
I found the need to extend the fore-and-aft length of the fin skin, as well as addressing a mismatch between the fin spar and the aft edge of my pre-cut fin skin. I decided to make a vertical cut on the precut fin skin in line with the aft edge of the fin spar. I moved the cut-off point of the fin aft to align with the edge of the rudder. This left me with a three-inch gap to fill. I used an "L-shaped" piece of 0.032 to expand the size of the fin spar so the two pieces of pre-cut skin have a place to land. I also corrected a sllight leftward twist in the middle fin rib. Used some white duct tape to hold all the pieces together so I coiuld stand back and evaluate the fix. Looks good.
