started off the day with a general cleanup of the hangar, and review of skin fitting on both the horizontal stabilizer and the elevators. I decided to work on access panel design for the tailcone. This took much longer than I thought it would, but in the end I was glad I did this at this time. This is a very rough approximation of what I expect to end up with, but it confirms that I will be able to access the bottoms of the stabilizer mount bolts. this was a big worry to me because I was concerned about the possibility of getting crossed threads between the anchor nuts and the bolts. Now that i know I can get at those bolt bottoms I feel much better.
