Brief Description:  working on elevator twist

I did confirm that both elevators seem twisted, one worse than the other. I used a steel tee-bar and a steel flat plate to attempt to correct the angle of the forward edge of the elevators. Then I used wooden planks and clamps to flatten the trailing edge in hopes that would help. I'm not sure it did. With hindsight I can see that I should have done these bends in the opposite order from the manual suggestion. Or at least, I should have finalized the third bend and crushed it down to its final radius before drilling and clecoing the seam. I think it was a mistake to cleco the seam first as an attempt to use the clecoes to pull the skin over for bend # 3. I think that is what caused the twist to be built in. Now that the trailing edge bend is finalized I am going to have to remove the clecoes and see if the twist is relieved, and how far off the first set of holes are. To be continued.
