Brief Description: aileron controls and fuel tank fitting
spent most of the time today working on aileron control system. I realized that I had not cut any access holes in the C2 and C7 ribs for the pushrods to pass through to connect the bottom of the joystick to the top of the belcranks on each side. So I had to cut those holes now, with the ribs already installed and the wings already mounted on the plane. Took a lot of time with a lot of very awkward access. Frustrating work, so I took some time out from that to mock up the installation of the fuel cell I bought from Summit Racing. This is the 12-gallon tank that has been mentioned in our online forum.
