Brief Description:  moving the fourth inlet hole farther out to starbo

today I moved the starboard side lower cowl air inlet hole about 2 inches farther outboard, so it would line up better with the SCAT tube for cooling the alternator. I used the same technique, of making a long tapered diagonal cut across the bottom of the lower cowl, and pushing the hole outward. For some reason I had the feeling it wasn't working out quite as well on this hole as it did on the previous holes. I kind of felt like the corner was being pushed forward as well as moving outward. I was briefly tempted to extend the cut all the way to the horizontal parting line between upper and lower cowl, but I was afraid that would make it harder to keep the front flat plate aligned in the same plane, so I went ahead and fiberglassed it that way. We'll find out tomorrow how well it worked out.
