Brief Description: prepped mold with release wax and PVA
Today I made a very few last-minute sandings on rough spots in the mold, then applied seven coats of mold-release paste wax plus a coat of PVA. I also rolled out and pre-cut fiberglass cloth for three plies of fiberglass to be laid up tomorrow. I pre-staged each ply between two layers of plastic in preparation for pre-pregging the glass. I checked in with my daughter to confirm that she will be available to help me do the layup tomorrow morning. So by this time tomorrow I hope to have my top cowl curing in the mold.
