Brief Description:  cut out plywood for mold cradle, planned for reinf

I made some measurements to help decide what to do about the inadequate clearance between the rocker arm covers and the interior of the cowl inside the cheeks, along the parting line between upper and lower cowl. At first I had been considering cutting out that area of the mold, and laying up new layers of fiberglass in those areas. But after measurements, I believe I can just flex the mold outward in those areas. To implement that idea, I made up a cradle of plywood, such that the plywood supports bracket the area of the rocker arm covers. My plan is to use countersunk screws to attach the mold to the plywood, flexing it outward until clearance from the rocker arm covers is sufficient. I also reinstalled the exhause pipes, and remounted the lower cowl into place on the engine, so I can plan details of the lower cowl fabrication. I am thinking that I want the openings for the exhause pipes to provide about and inch or an inch and a quarter of clearance between the cowl and the pipes. I also cut a couple of small openings in the front flat plate of the lower cowl, so I can begin planning for the carb inlet and the oil cooler inlet.
