Brief Description: working on skirt for aft landing area of cowl
I pulled most of the countersunk rivets to attach the skirt to the firewall, leaving just a few open holes for mounting some aluminum yardsticks to help shape the top of the cowl. I also cut out two curved pieces of plywood to be attached to the sides of the firewall flange, to help shape the "cowl cheeks" which will be part of the opening for allowing outflow of the cooling air.
