Brief Description: firming up skirt around upper edge of firewall
I removed the 0.032 inch skirt that had been clecoed to the circumference of the firewall. I dimpled that skirt and the firewall flange in preparation for rivetting it. At first I was going to set all the rivets, but upon reflection I decided to leave a few positions at the cleco stage, to provide a way to anchor the substrate of the plug mold.The clecoes marked with red tape in the picture below will probably be replaced with countersunk machine screws that somehow will help to anchor the hardware cloth which is the skeleton of the plug mold.
