Brief Description: first began thinking and planning about cowling
Getting back to this project after several days away tending to other projects around the house. Spent some time planning for how to protect and support the small wires that run from the electronic ignition housing on the back of the engine to each of the coils, one per spark plug. My main concern there was that the wires are pretty small and terminate into some potting compound at the back of each coil, and I am afraid they could vibrate back and forth until they suffer a fatigue break. I found some wrap-around wire loom material in two sizes: smaller for the wires themselves, and larger to wrap around the coils and provide support and transition to the smaller wire looms. I've also started thinking about other engine concerns, like baffling and cowling.
