Brief Description: Tack welding on the motor mount
I used the elongated holes I mentioned yesterday to do the best I could to get the motor mount bolt feet into their proper position. Then I used the weld-rod template trick to get started on the fish mouth cuts for the motor mount cross-bars. by the end of the day I had half of the tack welds done, keeping them very small until I can take it out to the airport and verify the fit. I am hoping that any needed adjustments can be made by bending the tacks, and then putting the mount back into the fixture to hold it stable for final welding.
