Assembled the tires, tubes and wheels together with the "hat" fixture that connects the brake disc to the wheels. Used blue Loctite to secure the six screws on each disc that secures it to the "hat". Drilled the mounting holes in the caliper support plate and started the process of fitting the calipers so that they float properly in their mounts. This is a tedius process because I don't want to remove any more material than I absolutely need to, but right now they're still too tight. On the first unit, I am approximately half way done. As shown in Image 3, I need to get it to slide in about another half inch, maybe 5/8 ths of an inch. and it can't just be jammed into place, it has to be able to float back and forth to accomodate disc runout and prevent grabby brakes.
