What a day!

Picked up the Tank today, except for one little problem (The filler spout needed to go back, rather than forwards!!, bugger!) its a beauty! The Fuel sender has been put in, and the viual guage has also been put in, so thats excellent. It worked out well, while it was a holiday in brisbane for the Local show, sadly, the life of a technician doesnt mean you get time off, but thankfully the last job of the day co-encided with being nearby to the Tank builder, so with a call I dropped in and picked up the tank. Again, it was a fantastic build, and light to boot, I would guess its around 6-7kgs total, with all of my extras in it.

I got the tank builder to put in the sender (as it needed a bracket, thankfully he was able to do that) and to attach a plate to the unit so I could put my headphone jacks onto the tank, rather than put it in the panel, they all worked out okay, and I'm happy with the positioning.

Got the tank home and Started work on the Rudders, the Floor board installation and the read brace, all went in like normal, some jiggling was required to get them in place, the holes in the back of the floor board where opened up to allow for the nuts on the bottom of the seat posts to hold everything in place properly rather than fowling on the board.

I also put in the door catch brackets, so that when the doors are closed (the floor hatch's) you will be able to put a little bit of pressure onto them without to much hassle.

Scott came up with a light solution for the floor hatch closing option, some velco straps coming from the lower section to the upper section, so that when the door is closed the lower section's strap can then sit on the carpet outside and it will be held down, That or perhaps a cam lock of some description? Or maybe I will leave it as it is, the CTLS and SW dont have anything
