Brief Description: Modified forward baggage floor part 2
Cut the opening in the forward baggage floor using a straight edge and an Olfa knife with a laminate cutting blade. This knife allows you to score the alumimum and remove a good amount of material with each pass cutting through the material after multiple passes. By using this method, the section that is cut out can be used as the removable panel, avoiding the need to cut a separate piece.
Next I cut four narrow strips from aluminum sheet to use as the flanges to support the removable floor section, clamped them to the floor and match drilled the flanges and floor.
Cut the stiffeners to fit and match drilled them to the floor
