In the process of buying a KR1 from my Neighbor Friend George Johnson. Spent the day getting familiar with some of the various particulars concerning operating this one of a kind experimental home-built aircraft. It was built by a real craftsman who is retired from Boeing. Absolutley beautiful work! Powered by a 65 hp volkswagon engine it does about 160 mph on just 4 gallons an hour.
I will be comitting aviation in this nice aircraft...while building my Ch 701
