Spent the weekend up in Arlington, WA at a EAA workshop on Avionics and Aircraft Wiring. Learned how much i don't know about this... did a couple projects to get the basics of soldering,crimping and got some great 'tips and tricks' . Also, picked up a number of great refrence research from the instructor on where to get various components, bits and pieces etc for doing this phase of the project...At least now i know what i am going to try to duplicate and create something that long after i am gone someone will say "hey this guy did a good job building this..." At least that is my goal...
