Brief Description:  Drilled tailwheel steering linkage

Short work day, only drilled the tailwheel steering linkage. The entire tail wheel assembly has now been fitted. Have also made rudder stops that limit the rudder travel to plan specifications. Have also made elevator down limit stop but still need to file or grind the elevator horn to provide about 4 degrees more up movement before it hits the stop. next task will be to fit the tail spring fairing.

Getting all the control surfaces working properly with correct ranges and stops and routing of the pushrod and rudder cables has been a fairly long and tedious process, seems I have been working on the rear fuselage section for a month now. I still need to drill and mount two static ports probably towards the rear of the second bay and also mount a platform in the first bay that I can mount the DYNON AHRS module. Also need to review and install what parts I can for the elevator trim system. Then.... finally.... I can fit the turtle deck.
