Remade a couple HS and VS mounting angles I was not happy with. They would have been OK but didn't take much time to remake. Mounted a 1/4" shim on the rear HS spar to limit the down elevator limit. Made the shim out of two 1/8" aluminum pieces. The up motion is about 2 degrees shy of what it should be and I will file down that stop on the elevator horn.
It appears the rudder has more left and right range than recomended. Will make two stops out of 1/8" x 1" aluminum and mount via two rivets already drilled in the skin and longerons. Will probably use flush rivets. The additional 1/8" will limit the rudder swing to approximately what the plans call for. Also positioned an additional rudder cable pulley assembly on the 3rd bulkhead. Now need to drill the assembly to the bulkhead. This will keep the rudder cable outboard of the elevator pushrod and will prevent the cable from rubbing the pushrod.
