Installed the 3 nutplates on the rear bulkhead that the AN4 bolts going through the HS and VS spars will screw into. Measured the up / down travel of the elevator and found the down travel about 8 degrees more than it should be and up travel 2 degrees less than it should be. Will need to make a 1/4" shim and mount it on the trailing side of the HS rear spar that will limit the down travel to about what the plans call for, I was surprised the elevator horn stop for down travel was so short. Would think Sonex would make both the upper and lower stops on the horn too long so they could be ground down to provide the proper range of travel. The up stop was ok, needs a little grinding but the down stop was way too short and required adding the shim to the spar which is the down elevator stop.
Made an additional rudder cable pulley assembly which I will mount to the 3rd bulkhead to move the rudder cable further outboard so it dows not rub on the elevator pushrod between bays 2 and 3. Have not mounted the pulley yet, will hopefully get to that tomorrow.
