Brief Description: More work mounting tail feathers
Match drilled the two angles used to mount the VS to the fuselage longerons. Had to remake the top angle because the one provided in the Machined Angle Kit would not fit and couldn't be modified without crating rivet edge clearance problems.
Emailed another builder, Dudley Foster and he has added an additional rudder cable pulley assembly to his OneX to keep the cable from rubbing the elevator pushrod. He said he thought others had done the same so I will look into doing that rather than wraping the pushrod with UHMW tape. The pulley is a much better solution but also more work. I'm trying to keep the build as close to Sonex plans as possible without doing a lot of modifications since they can chew up a lot of time and may be unnecessary but something needs to be done to resolve this problem, I think it is a safety issue.
