Brief Description: Finished enlarging elevator pushrod holes
Finished enlarging the holes for the elevator pushrod. Had to enlarge the holes quite a bit but I wanted good clearance. I drilled the HS mounting holes to #30 size so I could cleco the HS in place and attach the pushrod. Had to trim a small angle amount from the left top rear longeron for the elevator horn which I imagine is normal.
It appears the elevator horn hits the HS rear spar at the full down position which is correct since it acts as a stop. Have not measured the angle of the elevator full up to make sure it has the proper travel but looks like it does.
Tomorrow I plan to drill the idler assembly to the lower right longeron. Will also cleco the bottom skin in place and drill the idler to it.
