Bought material for the workbench from the nearby lumber yard. Decided to have the dimensions 4500 x 1200 x 830 and to spli the table into two units to get it more flexible (in my small garage) and to build it so that it may easily be dismounted and easy to store. Also decided to build a shelf under the table to use the large space (an idea I got from Robert Kelly). The surface was cut from 11 mm OSB plywood which is a bit sticky but cheap and sturdy. The legs (eight of them) was made from 70 x 70 wood and the frame was made from 28 x 70 wood. The legs was bolted to the frame using 160 x 8 mm "vagnsbult" and 6 mm wood screws. The surface was slightly attached to the upper frame using a couple of small wood screws. It took some time to get it level but seems ok.
