Today I started to calibrate the fuel sender. It didn't sense any change when I added up to 4 gallons so I will have to investigate this further. I went ahead and tested the fuel flows with the electric pump in various attitudes. I ran the pump for one minute and measured the fuel output. I managed to get up to 13 degrees nose up with the mains on automotive ramps. I want to redo the level flight measurement. I did it earlier with less fuel and it appears to be a higher flow than the tests done today. I believe I didn’t have enough fuel to get a long enough run to be accurate. I am happy with the flows I found. From 13 degrees up to 12 degrees down I am getting consistently just below 25 GPH. The jabiru can consume 10.6 GPH at maximum power. This would mean a factor of 150% would require a minimum of 15.9 GPH. looks like I'm exceeding the requiremnt easily. Edit: added the comleted test data.
