Brief Description:  Fisish pitot install, investigate elevator travel

I dimpled the skins and riveted on the nut plates for the pitot tube mount. Then I got the plumbing and wiring hooked up. I leak checked the pitot and AOA lines. I installed some grommet edging on the rib closest to the pitot and secured the wiring and plumbing lines. Then I finally closed up the pitot plate.
I started to look into the limited up elevator. I am only getting 17 degrees up when I should be seeing 25 degrees. I found some information of other builders having the same problem. It looks like if the horizontal stab was mounted slightly further forward the clearance would not be an issue. This is causing the torque tube to have limited clearance on the weld line against the aft vertical stab spar. A fix I have seen is to remake the inboard elevator ribs and position the control horn further forward to give more clearance. This looks like the best option for this problem. I drilled out these ribs and removed the elevators. I had to remove all the aft vertical stab spar bolts and the tailwheel stinger supports to get the elevator torque tube out.
