Brief Description:  Bigger tires, pitot tube wiring, control travel.

I stared off by finishing the wiring of the pitot heat. I mounted the heat controller inside the first wing rib. It looks like a good install out the way that will also help protect wiring. I secured the wiring conduit sections together to prevent them from moving.
I finished painting the tail wheel parts and painted the tailwheel spring on the plane. I changed out the main tires and tubes for 5.00 x 5 tires. It looks like the pants will only require a small amount of cutting to fit. I also planning on notching a spot to allow filling the tires with the pants on. I installed the tailwheel assembly and aligned the wheel. Then I ran into trouble. It looks like I am not turning far enough to allow the assembly to reach the free castoring detent. I will have to call Flyboy Mfr. To check on this.
I started looking at the rudder travel and found that the right side of rudder travel was about a degree shy of the limit. I filed down the stop and got it in specs. I then noticed the elevator was not reaching the up stop. I spent some time sanding down a spot that was causing it to not reach the stop.
