I finished drilling holes for switches and the aux. music input. I cut the hole for the GPS and fabricated the rack supports. The left support runs from the com to the GPS to stiffen the panel and keep it simple. I am going to mount the GPS antenna above the instrument panel on the access cover. This should give it a sufficient ground plane. I wanted to put it on the upper fuselage, but VHF antenna clearance is too close. I spent a lot of time filing and sanding the GPS hole to get a tight fit. I cleaned up a lot of the wiring and tied up the bundles. I also installed a hose fitting in the AHARS AOA port for the AOA pitot probe. I will have to install static ports on the fuselage. I will use the existing static lines in the wing for the AOA air.
