Brief Description:  Rudder - trailing edge

The ProSeal was finally dry enough to finish the trailing edge. Two weeks to dry!! I removed the clecko's and cleaned off the excess goop before riveting. I was dreading this step since the riveting method is different and there's a good chance the edge will be wavy if not done correctly. I bought a 3/16 x 3 x 48 piece of steel at Home Depot and used that to to backrivet roughly 1/2 the length of the rivet, moving to random areas to keep the aluminum from warping. I then flipped the rudder over and used the normal flush head in the rivet gun to drive the rivets the rest of the way home against the steel. Came out great! The rivets look good and I couldn't detect any warping.
