Fixing the Tie-Bar in position can be difficult on the Tri-Gear, as you have to work around the landing gear. The bar is held in position, then drilled all the way through the bar and brackets in the correct position. The next thing is to drill the brackets to the wedge supports fitted earlier on the seat back, It is all held in position with the bolts that come through from the outside lift brackets. After I was happy with the fit, all was removed for painting. I found a 12” long drill very useful here as I could drill straight down.
