The next step after setting the wing incidence is to fit the Tie-Bar. This will lock the 2 wings together and give the Aircraft increased MOTW. Two wedge shaped blocks are made from 19mm plywood these are bonded in the correct position the 3 Ply’s of Bid are laid over them. It is a good idea on the Try-Gear to cut the corners off the landing gear ribs before fitting them as it makes the fitting of the tie-bar much better. I had worked this out but found I had not removed enough from the ribs so I had to spend some time re-cutting the corners and doing the top Uni layups again. All fits nice now
