Today I started and finished part of practice kit 2. This gave me some hands on experience with layout, de-burring, dimpling, machine countersinking, back riveting, pop rivets, and hand squeezing rivets.
I used the DRDT-2 to dimple the sheets and then back riveting the two pieces together.
Once that was completed, I matched drilled the angle bracket to #40. Two pop rivets, six rivets I set with the rivet gun and four that were machined countersunk and set with the hand squeezer.
