WELL BLOW ME DOWN......in our wildest dreams we would not have ever thought that after laborious weeks fitting the spars, wings, flaps, ailerons, cables.....we now needed to take it all off. We did not want to believe it so we tried fitting the fuel tanks without stripping every think down. (Why the hell didn't they tell us to install the bloody fuel tanks before we put the wings on!) .....anyway we had no choice but to follow the manual and strip it all down......consequently we slid in the fuel tanks.......Boy did we have a few drinks at the hanger that afternoon swearing about the designer of the plane. We decided in the end it was probably for a good reason. Grrrrrrrrr Unfortunately one of the fuel tanks was damaged and we have organised to fabricate a new one. This will take a few weeks.
